  • ⚠️ General Safety Warnings

    • Never leave a burning candle unattended.

    • Keep away from things that catch fire. Always place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from curtains, bedding, carpets, paper, and flammable materials.

    • Keep away from children and pets. Never allow children or pets to be near a burning candle.

    • Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Burning for too long can cause the container to overheat.

    • Burn within sight.

    • Never touch or move a burning candle or just-extinguished candle until it has completely cooled. The wax and container will be hot.

    🕯️ Burning Instructions

    • Trim the Wick: Before lighting, trim the wick to 1/4 inch (6mm) every time. A long wick can cause a high, smoking flame, or mushrooming.

    • First Burn: When you light the candle for the first time, allow the wax to melt across the entire diameter of the jar, creating a full "melt pool." This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn for the candle's life.

    • Extinguish Carefully: Always extinguish the flame using a snuffer or by gently blowing it out. Avoid using water.

    • Keep the Melt Pool Clean: Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, and debris.

    • Stop Burning When Low: Discontinue use when only 1/2 inch of wax remains at the bottom of the container. Burning past this point can cause the container to overheat and potentially crack or break.

    • Avoid Drafts: Burn candles in a well-ventilated area, but avoid drafts, vents, or air currents, as this can cause uneven burning, flickering, and excessive smoking.

    • Spacing: If burning multiple candles, place them at least 3 inches apart to prevent heat from one candle from melting another.
